The entry-level Priorat wine from Franck Massard is the Humiliat, a blend of Garnacha and the rest Cariñena from organically farmed vineyards which matured in used 500-liter barrels for one year. It showed some initial reduction and it benefited from extended contact with air to reveal aromas of ripe, wild berries and some spices. The palate is medium-bodied, much lighter than your average Priorat, which makes it very drinkable. It also has good acidity which makes it very apt for the table.
