The Elderton Command Shiraz has established an enviable reputation since the first vintage in 1984. Made from grapes taken from a single vineyard that was planted circa 1894 and classed as a centenarian block by the Barossa Old Vine Charter, the Command is one of Australia’s best and most highly regarded Icon wines. The wine is matured for 34 months in new American and French oak barrels prior to bottling. The result is a wine of great intensity balanced with very soft, pliable tannins that add structure and finesse.
