Aged for 15 months in French oak barriques, the Elderton Estate Barossa Merlot is a deep red coloured wine. The nose exhibits sharp aromas of plum and spice with subtle earthy notes while the palate is fresh and juicy with delicate flavours of plum, spice, cedar and black fruits. This medium bodied red wine develops complex fruit characters with a cellaring period of 5 years. Pair this with beef, lamb and veal to unlock its full flavour potential.
