Region: Others
Body: Full
Varietal: Other red varietals

Country: China (Xinjiang, Turpan Valley)

Saperavi is a red grape originating in the country of Georgia but spread to many Central Asian countries. Saperavi grapes produce very deep red wines that are suitable for extended aging. It is an extractive wine with a characteristic bouquet, a harmonious taste, and pleasant astringency.

The Puchang Vineyard Saperavi has a light garnet colour with an intense ruby hue. On the nose, it has an elegant aroma of spices mixed with red ripe fruit such as strawberry, plum and quince. On the palate, a hint of well-balanced wood on the final makes the Puchang Saperavi pleasant. The tannin on the palate is soft and elegant with earthy notes and a light bitterness that hints black cherries.

Certified Organic wine.
