The Pago de Los Capellanes Crianza has a very intense and bright cherry colour with violet edges. Clean and bright. It has clean, intense and concentrated nasal aromas, in which a good balance between the notes of fruit and wood is noticed. The notes of vanilla melt with aromas of ripe fruit, black fruit and berries. Some leather and liquorice notes provided during its ageing in French oak barrels are also noticed. This Spanish wine has a soft mid palate, but coats the mouth with balanced flavours. Some refined tannins are also felt, which will make this wine's life longer. Finally, a long and elegant finish with a nice after-taste is noticed. A great red wine.
