The Montes Folly Syrah has an intense ruby red colour. Massive amounts of fruit arrive on the palate in layers of black ripe fruit: black cherries, blackberries and ripe plums. Hints of butterscotch reveal the full, voluptuous ripeness of the grapes. Meaty, well-balanced structure and strong velvety tannins allow a long lingering finish, and a defining seductive elegance of tobacco and toastiness.
