Produced only in the very best years, the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage champagne is crafted using the traditional varieties of chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier. Exceptionally high-quality grapes are meticulously sorted for production according to the méthode champenoise. After obtaining a quality base wine, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle. The aging period is approximately seven years, and after disgorgement, a dosage of 5 g/litre of sugar is added, with the champagne remaining in the cellar for at least six months before being released to the market.
The Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage champagne is inviting on the nose, showing a symphony of nutty aromas, with mouthwatering notes of vanilla, toast, green apple and pear skin. It is luscious in the mouth, with a beautifully creamy texture, supported by an energetic, shimmery acidity.
