The land parcel on which the Carignan is grown consists of clay loam soil with calcareous characteristics. The Mendall La Pedrera underwent ageing in stainless steel tanks before spending time in terracotta amphora.
The Mendall La Pedrera is medium bodied with gentle tannins. The wine has a beautiful red fruit dominant profile, supported with a hint of spice and umami notes. It is fresh on the palate with lingering notes of cranberries and raspberries.
