The M Chapoutier Cotes du Roussillon Villages Les Vignes de Bila-Haut has a totally opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red hue. Prominent ripe dark cherry, dark raspberry and red liquorice scents intermingle with aromatic fresh herb notes, traces of earthy incense and spice. Downright delicious, the palate exhibits ripe dark berry flavours that show great intensity and have a juicy yet elegant feel. Infusions of incense, subtle inky earth like characters and spicy fresh herbs ensue. The wine has a lively finish with well integrated silk like tannins. The Les Vignes de Bila-Haut finishes with a long succulent aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, inky raspberries, red liquorice, earthy incense and traces of dried herbs.
