The Fratelli Alessandria Barolo del Comune di Verduno is a pure expression of the commune, being a blend of five different Verduno vineyards. Supple and sumptuous with a fine typically “Verduno” perfume, this wine offers beautiful, engaging, chalky fruit. Complex flavours of sweet plum with hints of blueberry caress the palate with a salt-washed stone character giving sapidity and spark to the finish. Attractive, tactile and deeply satisfying.

"Wild red berry, camphor, truffle and dark spice aromas form the inviting nose. Elegantly structured, the savory palate also has youthful tension, delivering ripe Morello cherry, raspberry compote, star anise and tobacco blend set against taut, fine-grained tannins. Give it a few more years to fully develop. Drink 2024–2031." - Wine Enthusiast, 94 points
