Appellation: Heathcote
The Dominique Portet Shiraz has lifted aromas of violets and cherry blossom, rich brambly fruits and ripe plum, with that classic peppery spice that the cool Heathcote nights seem to imbue. Medium-weight, supple and velvety, it’s a wine that ripples with fresh, opulent forest berry and plum fruit. It is drinking beautifully now thanks to that buoyant fruit but there is no doubt that this will mature gracefully over the next 10 years and beyond.
