A blend of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone and Altre.

The Degani Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Cicilio impresses through a finessed and airy display of fresh violets and mint plus white smoke, blueberry and a subtle hint of animal musk. It’s silky in texture with ripe red fruits, salty minerals and a mix of inner rose and lavender tones. There’s nothing out of place in this balanced and juicy effort, which seems to have something new to say each time I revisit it, as it tapers off with floral nuances and a hint of plum.
