It's that time of the year where we let down our hair and fill up our glasses. Here’s our tongue-in-cheek 4 point guide to helping you survive the New Year party with grace, fun and an intact wallet.

    1. Always have a glass in hand. You can always excuse yourself for a top up when the conversation gets awkward.
    2. Steer clear of the wine snob and his stories of that famed bottle he had eons ago. What’s the point of talking about something if you are not getting a piece of the action?
    3. Let others have the first go at the champagne bottle. The best part is found near the bottom where the wine gets more creamy and yummy.
    4. Enjoy the party but don't wake up to a monstrous credit card statement. Check out our Top 10 Party Wines S$35 and Under for the best valued party poppers.

As 2015 draws to a close, we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you during the year. We hope you have had as much fun as we had doing the things we love.

On a personal note, I hope also that you have enjoyed the articles I posted and that they are informative enough without being too boring. The articles are meant to be bite-sized and are based on my personal experiences with wine. Please let me know though how I can improve and what you will like me to write about in 2016 by posting your comments here. I am excited to continue sharing my vino journey with you.

Well, that’s it. Here’s wishing you a Happy and Peaceful New Year! We look forward to serving you all again in 2016.

Bubbly cheers from me and everyone at Wines Online
