Orange (natural) wine.
The Nevio Scala Cóntame is an orange wine produced from 100% Garganega, spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks on the skins with natural yeasts. After two weeks of maceration, the must is separated from the skins. The wine is aged for about 18 months in concrete tanks before resting for a further 12 months in the bottle.
The contact with the skins gives the Nevio Scala Cóntame an orange colour with golden reflections. On the nose it expresses notes of apricot, aromatic herbs and pine resin, with interesting hints of candied orange peel, while on the palate it is clean and elegant, with a fine body and a soft and honeyed aromatic finish.
