Clos Du Val has been making Zinfandel since its inception in 1972. The Clos du Val Zinfandel is ripe, round, and exciting to the senses. The colour is a deep, opulent purple and the nose opens to aromas of fresh baked blackberry pie with classic black pepper notes. It showcases flavours of dark berries, ripe plums and toasted spice. The textures are smooth and silky with a soft roundness, leading to a long, clean finish. A perfect pairing for grilled or barbequed meats and roasts.
