The Mitolo Jester Shiraz is bright ruby in colour. Dense, rather backward aromas of cassis, bitter cherry and black pepper, with hints of anise and clove. Fat and oily in texture, but the flavours of sweet, dark berries, tobacco and roasted coffee offer good verve. Finishes long, supple and on the sweet side. Tasty stuff.
