Pale gold in hue, the Voyager Estate Chardonnay offers up faint notes of oyster shell, lemon zest, honey and buttered toast. It is soft in texture, with lifted acidity and a salty mineral note singing in perfect harmony. The oak rears up a little on the finish. The Voyager Estate Chardonnay needs some time in glass to open up, but overall, this is a gentle wine.
