The Penley Estate Hyland Shiraz is a complex and intense Coonawarra Shiraz. Brooding dark fruits and earthy ferrous notes lifted with spice. This is a well structured and intensely flavoured Shiraz. Star anise, berry compote, leather and chocolate intertwine. The minerally tannins drive the palate which is long and supported by savoury french oak notes. Rich dark and dense. Medium term cellaring will be rewarded.
