The Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir is made from Pinot Noir grapes harvested from two special Central Otago vineyards. The grapes were handpicked during good weather, which allowed the fruit to mature slowly, leading to supple and ripe tannins. The result is a red wine that offers complex layers of spice, cloves, dried herbs, and cinnamon aromas. It delivers a focused palate with a core of spiced red fruit and dried herbs.

“A blend of wines from Bannockburn, Bendigo and Lowburn. Fragrant, attractive aroma of black cherry and red rose petals that continues onto the palate where it is joined by plum, crushed herbs and grape stem flavours. Fruit sweetness is nicely balanced by fine, ripe tannins to give a pleasantly dry finish. Youthful but approachable with obvious cellaring potential." - Bob Cambell, 96 points

“A complex nose with plenty of woody spice and herbal nuances, ahead of strawberries and bright red cherries. The palate delivers attractively detailed, fine tannin and fragrant, pink and red fruit abounds in a fine, fresh mode. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 93 points
