The Domaine Joliet - Fixin Premier Cru Clos de la Perriere has a bright ruby colour. Subtle but not invisible wood frames very ripe liqueur-like aromas of cassis, black cherry and violet. The supple, rich and seductively textured middleweight flavours conclude in a dusty and lightly stony bitter pit fruit-inflected finish where a touch of warmth slowly emerges.
