A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and native varieties including Pattaresca, Turchetta, Recantina and Corbinona.
Clear, medium ruby in colour, the Nevio Scala Rosso Rugo's nose shows off aromas of cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, black plum, grass and tomato leaf. The palate is dry with medium acidity, soft tannins and a long finish.
The Nevio Scala Rosso Rugo is best enjoyed in its youth. The current stock comes from the 2022 bottling.
