The Mas Doix Costers de Vinyes Velles is matured in new French barriques for 16 months. The result is a wine that is dark, almost opaque with a bright rim. The nose is more about black fruit, peat, graphite with a generous dose of oak. There is great harmony in the palate. The Mas Doix Costers de Vinyes Velles is intense and penetrating without being aggressive. It is elegant and balanced in every way.
