A blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre.
The Xavier Gigondas has a dark purple colour. On the nose, ripe blackberry and mulberry aromas are complemented by smoky herb, anise and fresh violet. The palate shows deep, sweet dark berry liqueur flavours and a smooth texture followed by a long snappy finish. Lots of ripeness and great balance in this wine.
