A Red Moon occurs during a total lunar eclipse when the light filtering through the Earth’s atmosphere dapples the moon in red light. The Cullen Red Moon has a deep mulberry colour with purple tinges. On the nose, floral notes of violets and rose, plum and blackberry are present. The wine shows unctuous fine tannins, blackberry, rose, saffron. Beautiful mid palate fruit, dark chocolate skating across the palate, to a delicious chocolate – mulberry compote finish.
