The Paul Jaboulet Aine Domaine de Thalabert Crozes Hermitage is made 100% from Syrah. The grapes from the Thalabert estate come from 40 to 60 year old vines and are carefully sorted then meticulously vinified using traditional methods. Aged in new French oak for 12 months, the resulting wine has a deep ruby red colour that is limpid and bright. The bouquet is intense, complex and aromatic with a blend of red berries and animal notes. On the palate, the Paul Jaboulet Aine Domaine de Thalabert Crozes Hermitage is a full bodied wine, powerful with fine noble tannins and a well-balanced finish. Some suggested food pairings from the winery are pressed guinea fowl with young vegetables, noisette of lamb with rosemary and saddle of devilled lamb with young vegetables.
