The Marques de Vargas Reserva has a deep black cherry hue with dark-chocolaty undertones and violet rims. On the nose, rich fragance of dark fruit of blackberries and mulberries are enriched with aromas of violets. The nose is extraordinarily complex and refined with developing hints of menthol and balsamic notes.
On the palate, the Marques de Vargas Rioja Reserva shows great density and velvety texture. Well combined tannins from oak and fruit add structure, notes of a wide spectrum of fruit flavours. This is a concentrated, sophisticated and elegant wine that will do well with extended cellaring.
