The Célèbre Hauts Plateaux de L'Himalaya White has a moderate lemon appearance. On the nose, there is attractive stone fruit (peach, nectarine) with some lemon peel and even a hint of quince complemented by some slightly toasted and clove-scented oak. On the palate, the Célèbre Hauts Plateaux de L'Himalaya White is medium-bodied, with lively acidity (the fruit is sourced from a vineyard as high as 2,600 meters above sea level) and well-integrated alcohol combining the core of ripe fruit and bright acid with some slight creaminess of lees. With its longer, if not very long length, this is a compelling wine that is drinking well now but will also benefit from modest development in bottle over the next two years or so.
