VARIETAL:Baga
Made from the Baga grape. Fermented in traditional lagares and made naturally, with no added sugar, sulphur, yeast, acid, malic bacteria and no fining. The fleshy, grapey snap of Baga is unmistakeable. Clean varietal character, uncluttered and savoury, it is driven by the tannin and acid of Baga, but without fierceness. The wine is gentle, charming and savoury, leading on to a gentle lean and dry finish. Unlike many unsulphured wines, the tannins are complete and textural and there's a nice perfume waft in the mouth after all is done.
