Winery: Kilikanoon wines
Country: AustraliaRegion: Clare valley
Body: Medium full
Varietal: Cabernet sauvignon & blends
The Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Cabernet Sauvignon has an opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and mulberries infused with black olives are followed by cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Medium bodied, the palate possesses good richness with blackcurrant and liquorice flavours overlaid by black olives and cedary tobacco infusions followed by some dried herbs on the spicy finish. There’s some grip to the fine grained tannins. Good depth with a long spicy blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, black olive, cedary tobacco characters and dried herb aftertaste.
