Juniper Estate’s flagship wine. Single vineyard origin, dry grown, hand-pruned, hand-picked from vines planed in 1973. From the Houghton clone, usually spends 18 months in the very best French barriques before bottling. Production falls between 500-700 dozen.
This wine is brooding and intense, with finely-knit tannins, concentrated, dense, structured, yet refined. Similar to the wines of Paulliac.
