Scarce Earth is a McLaren Vale initiative exploring and celebrating the geological, climatic and soil diversity of the region. All wines are produced from a single block which represents a unique flavor and personality profile.

The Coriole Estate Galaxidia Shiraz shows lovely aromas of fresh dark fruits. On the palate, plush, lush and rich black fruits compliment beautifully with silky McLaren Vale chocolatey notes on this wine.

"95 points. Excellent colour; a potent, full-bodied celebration of variety and place, with inky black fruits, dark chocolate, licorice and firm tannins." - James Halliday

"94 Points. Quite rich perfume showing nougat, red berries, Xmas cake spice, liquorice. Palate shows fleshy, supple, long, slightly meaty, bright berry fruity, lick of spice. Tannins are gummy, sticky and lend the wine a little structure. Nice drinking." - The Wine Front

"95 Points. A big solid Shiraz with aromas of fresh earth, star anise, herbal tonic and dark chocolate. It's very full-bodied with fleshy texture and richness to burn. Dense plush fruit and masses of tannin followed by a long finish." - Gourmet Traveller Wine
