Body: Light medium
Chardonnay; pinot noir; pinot meunier. Clover Hill Brut is crafted according to traditional methods. It is matured on lees in its bottle for a minimum 3 years. It contains components of selected reserve wines aged in French oak foudres and barrels to ensure the unique personality that is the Clover Hill house style. It has an attractive pale straw colour with a green hue. The wine is showing a persistent, fine bead and gentle, foaming mousse. The bouquet displays complex layers of lemon, white peach and honey, with toasty yeast characters derived from time on lees and the aged reserve wine. An elegant wine with superb length, it will continue to improve under cork for up to 10 years.

This is an extremely well crafted sparkling wine made using methode traditionnelle, with pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot meunier, by a French winemaking team in Tasmania. The Clover Hill Vintage Brut is widely regarded as Australia’s best sparkling wine and we understand why. The fine bubbles, fresh green apple notes and elegant, complex style rivals the very best champagnes. Many of our customers think that the Clover Hill Vintage Brut is an expensive champagne when they taste it without looking at the bottle. For a fraction of the champagne price, we reckon this is a value buy.
