Appellation: Haut-Medoc (Moulis-en-Medoc)

Bright medium red in colour. The Chateau Chasse-Spleen 2008 opens up with a classic nose of cassis and graphite with a hint of cedar. On the palate, the wine is fruity with ripe red cherry, plum and spice flavours, supported by a touch of smoke. The Chasse-Spleen 2008 ia a very stylish wine with a long and smooth finish, complete with a hint of cracked black pepper. The tannins have softened with age which makes this wine ready to drink now or cellar in the next 5 years.
