"Saving the very best for last, the 2007 [Paolo Savino] Barolo Riserva Rocche dell'Annunziata is a gorgeous expression, with towering varietal characteristics that casts a long shadow. There¡¯s so much going on in the glass: Prune, blackberry, cassis, dried herbs and licorice are beautifully woven together. The wine is firm and crisp in the mouth with perfectly integrated tannins. You can drink this wine in a few years, or decide to keep it for later. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2025." - RP, 95 points
