Deep crimson red with purple hues. Full deep fruit aromas dominated by ripe plum with some spicy overtones from oak maturation. In the style of the acclaimed 2002 vintage this wine shows full, ripe plum and cherry fruit with fine, soft tannins and firmness on the finish that gives length and structure to the palate. It is typical of the fuller style of Pinot Noir produced in the Tamar region of northern Tasmania. This is an elegant style of Pinot with ripe primary fruit flavours, soft tannins and balanced acidity. Pinot Noir is a versatile food wine. The classic combination is Pinot Noir with duck, but it can team equally well with rabbit, hare, lamb as well as fish such as Atlantic salmon or Ocean Trout.
